Codelevelup.com is a Drupal learning community that combines the best concepts of social networking and role-playing video games.

Drupal developers accept small development quests and submit completed solutions for anonymous peer evaluation.  As the developer (Hero) completes quests, the character levels up, which provides tangible, real-life benefits as well as site-specific, fun advantages. Heroes use gold and gems to buy better weapons and armor and unlock new items and features.  Once prepared, the Hero can join a guild and head into battle, for fame and treasure. Developers will impress employers with a list of every lesson completed and all mentoring  conducted (e.g., answering questions, creating new quests.)  Plus, each developer can show off newly acquired skills on a dedicated portfolio site.

Codelevelup.com supports the community through Drupal placements and professional services.  Code Level Up provides hiring companies with an unbiased skill assessment of each candidate, relative to and verified by the community.   This delivers cost effective and superior results to typical recruiter keyword-searches, which is an expensive and unreliable method.  Plus, all Code Level Up candidates can demo their own fully-functional portfolio site. Code Level Up also provides Drupal consulting services.  We use a variation of the quest system for development; a patented technique that has proven to deliver higher quality at lower prices than traditional consulting methods. All projects are overseen by the founders, which guarantees requirements will be met with a scalable and solid development framework.
